The 2020 RAM 1500 is one of the best new pickup trucks of the year. The vehicle offers powerful engine performance thanks to a 3.6-liter V6 engine. Right off the bat, it can tow up to 6,730 pounds with a 2,300-pound payload. But if you need something stronger, there's the 2020 RAM 1500 Rebel that tows up to 7,520 pounds with a payload of 1,930 pounds. Boasting a fuel economy rating of 20 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway, the RAM 1500 is also surprisingly efficient for a pickup. In addition to plenty of standard features, drivers will have numerous other options such as those included in the Night Edition package available on select models. The RAM 1500 starts at just $31,895, but with financing, you can pay as little as $467 per month for 72 months. The next level trim, the Big Horn starts at $36,440 (or $510/ month), adding more features and upgrades. The highest-level trims are the Laramie Longhorn for $51,140 ($753/ month) and the Limited trim for $53,615($790/ month). Optional with most models is a 5.7-liter V8 engine with eTorque $1,695 or without for just $1,495. Upgrading the transmission is free. Optional on all Big Horn and Laramie models is the Night Edition package which is available for as low as $1,895 on the Big Horn. This package includes a ton of upgrades including premium black-painted wheels, Owl all-season tires, an automatic-dimming driver's mirror, black interior and exterior accents, cloth bucket seating, power-folding mirrors and plenty more. On the Laramie, this package is available for $3,395. The Sport Appearance package is available on virtually all trim levels starting at just $895, depending on the model you choose. This adds black accents, carpet floor covering, a rear bumper with step pads and a few other features. The Chrome Appearance Group adds chrome wheels, and a chrome rear and front bumper for less than $1K.

In addition to these features, you'll be able to add equipment group packages to most trims, as well as Bed Utility Group and a Trailer-Tow Group packages. While Group Level 1 features contain plenty of features for around $1,000 to $2,000 extra, the Level 2 Group offers twice as many for twice the price in most cases. Group features vary depending on the trim, but the Big Horn group packages add features like remote-start, rear-park assist, rear power-sliding windows, satellite radio, a Uconnect 4 infotainment system with 8.4-inch display, and automatic climate control among others. Trailer-Tow and Bed Utility Group packages under $1K enhance towing and hauling for your pickup. On top of this, there's the Premium Lighting Group that adds LED headlights and fog lamps. But these are just a few of the packages that are available on 2020 RAM 1500 trims.
