The 2020 Mazda CX-5 is one of the newest vehicles from the Japanese auto-manufacturer that is now the 14th largest car brand in the world. Updated just in 2019 with a powerful turbocharged engine, this fun-to-drive, two-row SUV crossover is expected to remain largely unchanged for 2020. This vehicle is also part of the current generation of the CX-5, which was introduced just in 2017. This has been the best-selling Mazda model since its introduction, though the 2020 version is still too new for there to be any major price-drops. However, Mazda does already have a few current special offers and incentive programs that are expected to apply to the upcoming CX-5 model that can help you save on a new model.

First up is Mazda's Military Appreciation Bonus Cash Offer, which offers eligible customers up to $500 toward to purchase, lease or financing of a new Mazda vehicle. The great thing about this incentive is that it's not just available to active United States military members, reserves and eligible veterans - it's also extended to their family members (primarily spouses and dependents) who live at the same address. Proof of residency is required, along with proof of military eligibility. This offer may also be combined with other eligible Mazda incentive programs.

Of course, like many auto-makers, Mazda has special incentives for their current customers. However, Mazda's longstanding "Loyalty Reward Program" is a little different from a lot of others out there. Open to all current Mazda vehicle owners (who purchased their vehicle from a Mazda dealership), this program provides up to $750 in cash toward the purchase or lease of a new Mazda vehicle. One of the coolest things about this program is that, unlike most auto incentives out there, it is actually transferrable between family members living in the same household (naturally, proof of residency and eligibility is required). Also uniquely, this incentive can be combined with other eligible purchasing, financing or lease offers (such as the military appreciation offer).

But this doesn't mean that current lease-only customers miss out on deals. In fact, customers currently leasing a Mazda vehicle may be eligible for the company's "Lease Pull Ahead Offer". Available to Mazda lease holders only, this program allows current customers to break their current lease contract early in order to drive a new Mazda vehicle (via purchase or new lease). For eligible customers, Mazda is also offering up to $1,000 in Early Termination Liability coverage. While not a viable option for everyone, this is definitely a good incentive program for those who are nearing the end of their lease and don't want to have to wait to drive one of the new CX-5 models (excludes the CX-5 Signature Skyactiv(r)-D).

Not many auto companies offer mobility program incentives, but Mazda is unique in that it actually does! Handicapped and other applicable disabled drivers can receive up to $1,000 in reimbursement to the purchase of (and subsequent installation of) adaptive driving aids and / or mobility assistance equipment on all eligible new and unused Mazda vehicles. Due to the often permanent nature of adaptive driving aids and accessibility equipment, this offer is for purchased / financed Mazda vehicles only and can not be used on leased cars. Mazda dealerships should be contacted directly for more details about this incentive program.
